About Your Day Out

Your Day Out was born from a simple belief — that everyone deserves to look forward to their day.

We're a Melbourne family who started this business because we saw a gap. People with disability weren't getting access to genuine, fun, well-supported social experiences. Day programs felt clinical. Options were limited. And too many participants were spending their days at home when they could be out in the world, making memories, building friendships, and living life.

So we decided to do something about it.

What We Do

Every day we run a different community outing for our participants — bowling, gaming festivals, cooking classes, art workshops, café days, park visits, and more. No two days are the same. That's the point.

We work with two age groups — young adults and adults — because we know a 20-year-old and a 50-year-old don't belong in the same group. Everyone deserves an experience that actually suits them.

We also work across three support levels. Some participants are highly independent and just want great company. Others need active guidance and prompting throughout the day. Some need full one-on-one care. We meet every participant exactly where they are — and make sure they never miss out on the fun because of it.

Groups are kept small. Maximum 10 per outing. Because we'd rather run a smaller group properly than a bigger one poorly.

Who We Are

We're not a corporation. We're not a franchise. We're a Melbourne family that shows up every day because we genuinely love what we do.

Every member of our team holds a current NDIS Worker Screening Check and is trained to deliver supports with the care, respect, and dignity every participant deserves. When something goes well on an outing — and it usually does — we feel it too.

We welcome self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants. Pickup and drop off is available for those who need it.

What Drives Us

When a participant comes home buzzing about their day — that's why we do this. When a family tells us their son or daughter has been talking about the outing all week — that's the whole point.

Your Day Out isn't just a support service. It's the best part of someone's week. And we take that seriously.
